I started KOVA after one too many evenings in a gorgeous campground, surrounded by rigs, and realizing I did not know a single person nearby. The views were incredible. The loneliness snuck in anyway.
I had spent years watching travelers build real community in comment threads and meetup threads — but the connection always disappeared when everyone rolled out the next morning. I wanted something lighter than social media and more intentional than a group chat. A place that says, "You are here. Someone else you might like is here too."
KOVA is that. It is a map with people, not places. It is a Cove you join because you trust the creator. It is a direct message that only opens when you already share a community. It is a way to say, "Rolling through your town this week — coffee?" and mean it.
